ACCREDITED ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR OPEN MEDICAL SCHEME

One of the largest open medical schemes in South Africa invites suitably qualified and accredited medical scheme administrators to send Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of Administration Services. The EOI is a first step in an open Request for Proposal (RFP) process which the Scheme has embarked upon and in terms of which it will partner with a qualified service provider. The selected partner will support the Scheme in achieving its strategic objectives through a full-service, outsourced, administration model

As a prerequisite, respondents must be accredited to provide third party administration in terms of section 58 of the Medical Schemes Act, read together with Regulation 17. The respondents must, where necessary, also hold the necessary FAIS accreditation, as well as hold the requisite indemnity insurance.

Interested parties are requested to submit an EOI by no later than 12pm on 26 May 2025 to EOIsm@gminc.co.za. Any party providing an EOI will be invited for a mandatory briefing session on the detailed requirements by no later than 9 June 2025

Attendance at the mandatory briefing session will be a prerequisite to be supplied with a detailed RFP document. The RFP document will outline full details about the Scope of Services as well as other relevant tender requirements and instructions which need to be followed.

Please note: These Expressions of Interest are part of the qualification process and do not constitute a solicitation. The Scheme reserves the right to cancel this request, and/or the entire procurement process, in its absolute discretion should it become necessary.
